About us

We are here for you.

USTA South Carolina

USTA South Carolina is a state branch of the United States Tennis Association. We are one of nine states in the USTA’s Southern Section. USTA SC is a non-profit organization run by a board of directors and various committees.

Our mission is to improve lives by developing and promoting the growth of tennis. We measure our success not only by the number of USTA members that we serve in S.C., but also by the number of people who participate in tennis. This includes the various ways people get involved in tennis, ranging from beginners playing together at a local park to longtime players competing in structured leagues at private clubs.

We support local community tennis groups and affiliated organizations in the following ways: helping start new tennis programs and expanding existing ones for all ages and abilities; offering suggestions and training; and providing grant money to worthy groups and individuals.

Our main strategy is to work with volunteers and tennis professionals in each community to provide a complete pathway of tennis programs for all ages and all ability levels. To view our strategic directions, click here.
