USTA South Carolina College Showcases

USTA South Carolina began hosting college showcase events in 2023. These showcases feature both girls’ and boys’ match play as well as a Coaches’ Roundtable Discussion and Q&A session for parents and players. Coaches discuss multiple topics, including different divisions of collegiate tennis play, what college coaches are looking for in players, recruitment processes, scholarships/financial aid, and much more.

Click here for the MANDATORY WAIVER that must be completed to participate in the showcase. The completed form must be turned in to tournament staff during check in. If parents will not be in attendance with their player the day of the showcase, please print this waiver and have all signatures filled out to bring to the desk the day of the showcase.

Format:

The format for the showcase will be determined by the number of players registered. We will most likely have round robin groups based on WTN ratings. All scores will be entered so players will get credit toward their WTN ratings. Please be advised that by signing up for this event, players will be signing up for at least 2 singles matches and 1 doubles match.

Selection:

Player selection will be done based on rankings and ratings at the time of selection after entries close. Selections will be made starting with rising seniors, then juniors, and so on. South Carolina players will take precedent over players from other states.
