USTA South Carolina CEO Jennifer Gregg Transitions to Role with USTA National

South Carolina – May 1, 2026 – With sincere appreciation for her leadership and service, the United States Tennis Association of South Carolina announces that Chief Executive Officer Jennifer Gregg will be transitioning into a new role with USTA National.

Since joining the organization in 2018, Jennifer has led USTA South Carolina with vision, innovation, and a strong commitment to growing the game of tennis. She has also fostered a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Under her leadership, the organization expanded access to tennis across the state, strengthened partnerships, enhanced programming, and created meaningful opportunities for players of all ages and backgrounds. She also led the creation and implementation of a statewide advocacy program that has brought millions of dollars into South Carolina to support the state’s tennis infrastructure. Her impact will be felt long after, both on and off the court.

Reflecting on her time at USTA South Carolina, Jennifer shared, “Serving the tennis community in South Carolina has been an honor. I am incredibly proud of what we’ve built together – expanding opportunities, strengthening connections, and growing a true love for the game across the state. While it is difficult to say goodbye, I am excited to continue this work at the national level and will always remain connected to the South Carolina tennis community.”

USTA South Carolina Board President, Mary Margaret Hyatt said, “Jennifer has been an exceptional leader for USTA South Carolina, and her impact will be felt for years to come. We are grateful for her service and excited to see her continue this important work at the national level.”

The Board of Directors has appointed Jessica Harrell, Associate Executive Director of USTA South Carolina, as Interim Chief Executive Officer. Jessica brings extensive experience to USTA South Carolina, including her return to the organization in 2018 following five years with USTA Southern. In total, she offers 17 years of USTA and association management experience, with strong familiarity with both the USTA National and USTA Southern structures. This broad background and depth of experience position her well to provide steady leadership and continuity during this transition.

A formal search for USTA South Carolina’s next Chief Executive Officer will begin in the coming weeks.

USTA South Carolina extends its sincere gratitude to Jennifer for her leadership and lasting contributions to tennis in our state and wishes her continued success in this next chapter.
