  • 2015 USPTA Southern Professional of the Year

  • 8-Time National Champion / Ranked as high as number 1 in the country in her age group

  • Bronze Medalist at Senior Fed Cup World Championships with TEAM USA

  • Former All-American for Clemson University in both Singles and Doubles

  • Former WTA player

Earlier this month, she published a book, “A New Spin On Tennis,” a guide intended for all levels, from club players to aspiring juniors and college athletes. You can get a copy on Amazon.

And as a tournament director and mom to a high performance junior player, Sophie was an early adopter of USTA’s new management software Serve Tennis: “Last year it took me 4 hours literally to do Noah’s tournament schedule cross-referencing the South Carolina schedule to the Southern calendar and National calendar in both the 12s and 14s. This year it took me 15 minutes. This new system completely rocks.”

Thank you for being an integral part of our community, Sophie!
